Liam's 1st Birthday Party + B-day Decor
| Hi babes!!! I know it's been a month since Liam's 1st Birthday and I haven't posted these photos, but please be nice I have been so busy lately with lots and lots of content coming your way. Anyway, now on to what matters my baby's 1st birthday party! Wow dolls seriously, I can't believe a year has flown by (mind blown). I remember when I was just announcing our pregnancy (Click here to take a trip down memory lane) and watch it all unfold from the start of our journey as becoming first time parents. Where to start so much went wrong on this day I don't even know where to begin. April 30th (Liam's actual birthday is on April 27th) we woke up with rain...yeah rain! I mean the entire week we had nice weather and all of a sudden "The Rain God" wants to hit us on my sons birthday really?! Of course I wanted to be the brave one telling Javi, "no we don't need a tent". Javi was totally stressing out, I was trying to think positive mean while I'm receiving text messages from people canceling. I'm also thinking we spent all this money on food, so people better show up lol The party must go on! Thankfully the rain stopped at around 10:00am so the party wasn't totally ruined. |

| I need to give myself a little credit on this. I painted 12 wooden block boxes each by hand. Yeah call me Martha Stewart! |

| Although it was raining we had a very good turn out of over 100 people. Yes, thats a little excessive for a 1st birthday, but you can't blame me I have 32 first cousins and were all very close. |

Mommy On The Go "Make-up Look" with Mom.me
Becoming a mommy has been one of the best gifts I could ever ask for but let's face it, it's one of the hardest jobs in the world! Sleepless nights, early morning wake-up calls and let's not even get into nursing (aka pulling out your boob every two hours). Yes! It's that crazy! My son is now a year old and I'm still trying to find the best ways to look my best and feel my most confident, even if I am tired.
I don't always have time to get ready in the morning, but that doesn't stop me from wanting and trying to look my best before I walk out my door. Like my grandma would alway say, "Theres not much to a pretty face, unless that pretty face believes in herself." And yes, I can sit here all day and tell you, you have to feel pretty on the inside to show it on the outside—blah blah blah. I think I can speak for some of us: When we look and feel good on the outside, it also has the reverse effect and can make us feel pretty on the inside. This routine helps me achieve all that and more.
Here are my secrets to achieving my best mommy-on-the-go look, which will hopefully help make you feel your very best!
Check out my secrets on Mom.me to see how I achieve my best mommy-on-the-go look, which will hopefully help make you feel your very best!

Grand Central Market
![]() |
| I just love Downtown LA do you? I recently went shopping at Grand Central Market. I was so inspired by all the yummy colorful fruits and vendors, I decided to share with you all what I wore while shopping. I get asked so many times "do your feet hurt" and "you've been in your heels all day, you're not tired"? To answer those questions, no I'm not! Being comfortable is extremely important from everything to the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. So when I'm shopping that doesn't change. I wore this comfy off the shoulder top and paired it with these hi waist shorts in black. This whole outfit was not only fun and flirty, but very appropriate for a day of shopping. Of course just like the questions I get... yes, I was wearing heels. These sandals are very comfortable because the heels are chucky and I don't have my toes closed in, so nothing is putting pressure on them. So when you're shopping or running errands remember you don't have to look a hot mess you can still look put together and comfy. |

Date at the Cafe
![]() |
| Valentine's Day is over what did you wear? If you're like me and you needed to simply turn any day look into a night look (because nobody has time to go home and change) then this is the perfect little outfit for you! I recently tried these new Hi-Waist-Skinny Jeans and fell in love with them. The fit is so flattering on any body type because they suck you in, in all the right places which is awesome! Am I right? I wore a textured knit bodysuit with a cropped black blazer for a "casual office vibe" for during the day. If you're going to the movies or dinner for your date night then I got you covered! I took off my blazer to reveal my body suit and paired it with tasseled lace-up sandals for an instant date night appropriate outfit. You still will look sexy, but not like you tried super hard. I hope I helped you find the perfect fit of Jeans. Make sure you head over to Charlotte Russe Instagram to enter in their Giveaway! |

East Hampton's
![]() |
| Okay Okay Okay!...I know I'm like a month late on these photos ONLY because, I do have a child lol. Anyways enough with the excuses during our trip to the East Coast we wanted to visit the ever so famous East Hampton's. Did you see Part 1 and 2 of our Vlogs? Now we only stood 1 night because we had so much more to see, but man was it worth the extra 4 hour detour. I mean look at this town it's super charming and beautiful! Everywhere you turned was such a pretty sight and don't even get me started on the House's!!! Let's just say they looked like they were straight out of a movie. We came across this beautiful Ralph Lauren store and I almost just died with it's charming small town feel. If I could I would've moved in. I made a promise to myself and my son that we will be back to vacation there during the summers. |
